Issue Summary

Summary by johndunbar

*Conversation support group meeting, St. Marys Church

Reverend Bob Cumeo is leading the discussion of Daredevil's supposed new position as Kingpin of Hells Kitchen.

A red haired man bemoans Daredevils arrogance of the claim he is now in charge and half sticks up for Fisk.

A blond haired woman interjects the mans account, because she was there the night Daredevil put Kingpin down. She proceeds to tell how Daredevil said he is now running the city, no longer just protecting it. She apologizes to the group for being so forthright of her feelings, and the red haired man accepts.

A dark haired woman asks if it was really Matt Murdock that put Kingpin down that night, the blond says no, the lighting was bad, and that it didn't matter who he was.

The blond continues to explain how her life changed because of that night.

*One week after Daredevil put Kingpin down, Mikey J's apartment

The blond describes herself as the drunk, junkie whore of Mikey J., who along with his brother were high and planning to be the new Kingpins.

Mikey arranged a meeting with a guy named Bullet, a giant of a man, where they planned to kill Matt Murdock for the public to see.

Daredevil shows up and the fight is on. He takes out the brother and another man who was there. Bullet picks up a couch and hits DD with it. Bullet looms over the blond, and then DD kicks him in the head and strikes him with the billy club. Bullet picks up a tv; DD dodges it and kicks him in the head again, then punches him a couple times.

The girl aims a gun at Bullet, but DD takes her hand and tells her to change her life. She says she will, DD responds "I know".

*Back at the support meeting

The blond says she doesn't care what the papers or anyone says, she knows DD is right, and she did change her life.

The dark haired woman asks why use violence and dress as the devil.

A woman grabs her kid and leaves after he comments on the cool story he just heard.

The dark haired woman ponders the reason for the devil mask, and what it represents to society.

A man says don't ask the question you dont want to hear the answer to. He says the costume covers up stunning secrets for Matt Murdock, least of which is his face.

The Reverend and the dark haired woman ask like what?

The man says are you sure you want to hear this?
