Issue Summary

Summary by Dale Lakes

Volume 1 #37 begins with DD beaten senseless by Dr. Doom and then spirited away to the Latverian Embassy. After being tossed into a formidable looking prison cell Daredevil finds a hidden trapdoor and escapes into... Dr. Doom's Sitting Room of Terror! The room is huge one moment then small the next, right side up then upside down. Daredevil quickly discovers that Doom is behind it (literally!) and opens up a can o' whoop-ass during which the Metal Madman recaps Fantastic Four #60 and we all finally understand his well reasoned argument for hating the FF (ahem). In the end, evil prevails and our man in red is caught under a giant plexiglass cylinder Doom uses for his "Body Transferral Ray" (patent pending) and puts his own mind into Daredevil's body and Daredevil's into his own. This is how Doom will defeat the Fantastic Four!
