Issue Summary

Summary by Samuel Johnson

As Lily's perfume was created by an enemy of Daredevil's, she asks for Matt's help in seeking a cure. He sets her up with Dakota North.

Later, DD surveys the carnage of the Gladiator's killing spree in Chinatown. He swings to the house of his only lead, Gus -- only to find he has already committed suicide. Matt tells Dakota to investigate Gus' finances before leaving for dinner with Milla. Their meal is interrupted when the Gladiator attacks. As the restaurant empties, Matt tells Milla to run for the door as he distracts Gladiator. Changing to Daredevil, he asks the out-of-sorts Gladiator: "Who did this, Melvin? I can get you help!" But, getting too close, he is knocked out by Gladiator.

He comes to, still masked, in the back of a police car. A voice from the crowd outside tells DD he shouldn't have left his wallet on the floor.

At their home, Gladiator creeps up on Milla.

TRIVIA: The conversation between the two cops resembles a similar scene in DD (vol. 1) #15
