Issue Summary

Summary by Michael Deeley

The simultaneously dated yet prescient "Tree of Knowledge" finally concludes!

Daredevil takes down Hydra agents, Predator-style. He tracks System Crash to a cloaked helicopter carrying Captain America. The resulting fight sends the helicopter into a crash that appears to kill Bitmap, Kilobyte, and Techno-Spike. DD and Cap survive to raid Hyrda's/System Crash's new hideout: Liberty Science Center, NJ.

Sinclair is hacking the NSA's line-eater system to help Hydra spread national anarchy. Steel Collar tires to warn her about making the wrong decisions. Cap shows up and destroys Wirehead's VR suit. Daredevil distracts Infomorph with a swarm of insects. Her electronic form can't help but imprint the attributes of every bug. Desperate for focus, she bonds to Wirehead's VR helmet. It gives her the power to delay Cap and DD long enough to try transmitting the NSA's files to Baron Strucker. Luckily, Daredevil's senses and Cap's shield stop her in time. Steel Collar tries using Sinclair as a hostage, but Daredevil knows he's bluffing. Steel doesn't want Sinclair branded as a criminal for her curiosity, forcing her to make the same mistakes he did. Daredevil promises, Steel releases her, then appears to destroy himself. Captain America lets Daredevil take Sinclair away. DD then destroys all trace of Sinclair's identity.

Elektra appears at Matt's new place to remind him they both trained for something. She thinks he "needs a reminder" of why he holds on to the name "Daredevil".
