Issue Summary

Summary by Kevin Hollander

Matt and Heather prepare for Foggy's wedding later in the day. Naturally Matt is the best man. As they greet Foggy's family (in from Akron, OH) Matt has to fight off the advances of Foggy's sister Candace.

Melvin Potter aka Gladiator holds his social worker Betsy Beatty and some underprivileged children hostage at the Dibney Museum. Potter has confused Besty's compassionate treatment of him for feelings of love. He wants her to admit that she does love him.

He allows one of the children to leave to pass along a message to the police: send a hero for him to fight or he'll kill the children one-by-one. As one can imagine, this quickly makes the news. Matt learns of this just prior to the ceremony. Despite the time constraint placed on him by the wedding, he has little choice but to suit up and confront Gladiator.

Daredevil arrives and battles the Gladiator throughout the museum. His appearance distracts the Gladiator, allowing the children to escape. He is ultimately defeated and taken away by the police.

Matt return to the church in time to witness Foggy's wedding to Debbie.
