Issue Summary

Summary by Kevin Hollander

A terrified Turk returns to Mr. Slaughter, asking for help against Daredevil. Slaughter correctly guesses that Daredevil has only set Turk free to follow him to Coney Island, which is closed for the season. When Daredevil appears, Slaughter orders his men to attack, but they are quickly defeated.

Daredevil continues through the park trying to find the Black Widow. His hypersenses detect someone tied to the tracks of the "Cyclone" roller coaster and makes his way there. He quickly discovers that Bullseye has snipers placed nearby. They fire on him while he makes his way to the roller coaster which is coming closer and closer to its target. At the last moment, Daredevil ignores the figure tied to the tracks, who is subsequently struck by the roller coaster. As it hits the ground, the individual hit by the coaster was a mannequin made to resemble the Black Widow. In the parks' arcade, Bullseye is amazed that Daredevil saw through his ruse.

Elsewhere Ben Urich pays a visit to Fogwell's Gym in his personal quest to uncover Daredevil's identity. This gym was home to Jack Murdock prior to his death. Urich's interview with the janitor "K.O." confirms that Jack Murdock was killed by "The Fixer" when he wouldn't throw a fight. He receives a significant piece of information: Matt had the ironic nickname "Daredevil" as a child.

Back at Coney Island, the Black Widow escapes her confinement as is prepared to fight Bullseye again in order to escape. She is not required to, as Daredevil arrives and attacks Bullseye without reserve. Through Daredevil's relentless attack and his inability to stop him, Bullseye suffers a mild nervous breakdown.

Daredevil and the Widow leave with Bullseye's wrists bound and turn him over to the police.
