01/19 - Philip Silvera Hired

Lots of changes going on behind-the-scenes for DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN.

Production is set to restart on Monday (January 22) and The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that former Netflix Daredevil Stunt Coordinator Philip Silvera has been hired to oversee the stunts for the show and will also be a second unit director.

Coming off the strong opening of Echo, its crime series centered on Indigenous and deaf anti-heroine Maya Lopez, Marvel next turns its attention to Daredevil: Born Again, which restarts production Monday after a lengthy hiatus.

Philip Silvera, who acted as stunt and fight coordinator on the Netflix version of Daredevil that ran in the mid-2010s, has returned to the fold to act as stunt coordinator and second unit director for the new series.

This is just the latest news of the changes to the show. THR is also mentioning the rumors that Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll will be returning that had been reported by The Insnider newsletter.

There's also news that the number of episodes will be more in line with what the Netflix shows had, instead of 18 episodes.
