Issue Summary

Daredevil arrives at the park to confront Echo. She has used the smoke from the fire and the noise around the park to disorient DD. They begin their fight.

While DD and Echo do their thing, we switch to the Kingpin. We learn of his past, how his parents didn't get along, how his father was a large man who worked hard at his job etc.

Back at the park, Echo says she knows DD killed her father. A TV in the area shows the fire, news on Larry Cebulski and the Black Widow in the hospital.

We learn that the Kingpin was named after Presidents and a General -- Wilson Grant Fisk.

Echo and DD continue fighting.

As 12 year-old, the Kingpin gets $15 to start a fire, but someone gets in his way and he kills him. At school, he finally stands up to some bullies and uses his size for intimidation. He sits in the library, learning as much as he can.

As Echo and DD fight, she notices blood on DD's cheek. She recognizes the 'question mark'. She knows Matt is DD. Matt explains that he couldn't have killed her father, because he was in elementary school when that happened. Echo then wonders who could have killed her father. She then realizes who it must be and she leaves the scene.

The Kingpin learns everything from books. At age 19, he meets William Lincoln (Maya's father), but soon realizes what he must do to him. He thinks of Maya.

Maya returns to her gym. The Kingpin walks in wanting to talk. Maya says she knows who killed her father, and she shoots the Kingpin in the centre of the boxing ring.

Elsewhere, Foggy gets Murphy convicted of killing Lenny.

At the hospital, the Widow is okay and is leaving with DD. Unknown to them, the Kingpin comes into emergency...

Matt's at home, playing his piano, thinking of Maya.

Later, the Kingpin is at his office. And it's revealed that he's blind!
