A very good issue, with excellent tension off the top.
SPOILER
What I found odd, is that I never felt that Elektra was someone that Matt could simply call on the phone, or send a Facebook message, whatever, and she would come and hang out. The thing about Elektra is she is never-endingly enigmatic to Matt. If she's that easy to reach, it makes you wonder why they don't hang out more.
Other than that, it's a very good issue. |

If Elektra is gonna stay like the way she was in this issue then Matt needs to marry her asap. |

The serpents are so infiltrated into the police, judiciary and other government, but they can't manage to keep an innocent former member from being convicted? |

As they said in the issue, DD's campaign against them has made their movements and actions more difficult. If they just used their connections to get the kid released, people would have noticed and it would have revealed them as Serpents. Plus, they probably thought this was the perfect way to get Matt under their thumb.
Of course, that's assuming there was no way they could get him released or get the case thrown out without revealing themselves. |

4/5
Another excellent issue with a terrific cliffhanger.
My singular problem here is the inclusion of Elektra. I was a little surprised to see her here and Matt's reasoning for seeking her out seemed flimsy. If he was looking for a confidante, Natasha might have been another choice or even Kirsten, considering how Matt just revealed the truth to her and his decision involved their law practice.
Plus, I didn't like Samnee's rendition of Elektra, one of the few misfires for me from him. The rooftop scenes of their dancing were good but her face seemed cartoony at some points and I didn't like her wind-swept anime hair. |

I was surprised to see Elektra in the issue. I'm not so sure about all the things you guys said, how Matt called her and she showed up just like that!! Maybe it's cause she's getting her own tittle in March and they wanted to be part of DD's story somehow so that they can "use" him in her comics for a reason. _________________
