If you are thinking of getting all the DAREDEVIL #1 covers in March, @KyleReadsComics on Twitter sent me some info you need to know...

The DAREDEVIL #1 variant by Paolo Rivera will be 1:50.

The Alex Ross variant will be 1:75.

Stores need to increase their orders by 175% to get a Chris Samnee animal variant and 200% for the Skottie Young variant.

The DAREDEVIL #1 sketch variant by Alex Ross will be a crazy 1:300! How many stores actually order 300 copies of any comic these days?

Doubt there will be many of those ordered. In my home town in the 80s there were 3 comic shops. They ordered together. I don't know I there are any shops that do that now. Like you, I can't imagine any single shop ordering that many copies. Crazy.

Full Disclosure: I have all of the variant from volume 2 & 3.

On to volume 4: There's no way I am going to be able to do all of them. Sad

I heard back from my local store, and for the Samnee Animal variant and the Young variant, the issue they have to exceed is v3 #31.

So any store that upped their order on that issue to get the Lego variant (1:25) or the Lego sketch variant (1:100) now has to exceed that order by 175-200%.

My store is pretty small, and only orders 7 copies of DD regularly, but even with the new #1, he doesn't think he'll be able to sell double that in order to get the variants for me, unless I buy all those extra copies myself.

I deal with a separate store for variants, and they've already confirmed they can get all 4 of them except the Ross sketch 1:300 for me. Although tonight the owner e-mailed me to ask how much I would be willing to pay for it.

Which raises the question... how much am I willing to pay for it?
