What the huh?

What is Infinite Comics? Is it weekly and digital only? Is it something else?

I guess we know what Waid is doing post 36 but do we know if there will be a 37? Will DD:RW (TERRIBLE name btw) replace the normal title?

Also: TERRIBLE name.

Here is news on CBR
The digital comic serves as the coda for Waid's time with Matt Murdock and company, wrapping up the epic story he's been telling in the monthly "Daredevil" title. As part of his farewell to the character, he and his "Insufferable" partner Krause are also having ol' hornhead bid adieu to his traditional stomping ground in New York City's Hell's Kitchen for a cross-country adventure.

So it seems he's still leaving and i'm certain he will have a printed series so somebody else will be taking over eventually

I'm just not interested in a digital comic, but I love what Waid has done. They are "forcing" me to buy digital.
I would think that a new team would be announced soon if there was going to be a relaunched series in print.

If anything is making me feel excluded as an older reader, this is it. I don't even own a mobile device! Of course, Waid's godawful stories have already excluded me for the past three years, and Diggle's before that. Problem is, there's apparently no guarantee of a new print series, and least not yet. I suspect the industry's long term goal is to increasingly digitalize and drop a lot of print comics. This could be an experiment in that direction. I just wish it weren't with the one comic I would like to collect with the right team.

I agree with you but I just don't see Daredevil not having a printed series with his anniversary right around the corner. I think it will be an all new Daredevil with an all new creative team

I hope so, and you're right about the 50th anniversary being an odd time to go all digital. My curmudgeonliness aside, digital isn't even a bad idea. I was just particularly put off by the part about its focusing on mobile devices... I don't know why and and how it would be specialized for those as opposed to the computer screen I'm reading right now. Print magazines in general see it as the future, and it would have to be cheaper.
Plus, Waid writing yet another DD story after three years of this, and taking him away from NYC, is not what I was hoping for. I was really looking forward to a new team, and hoped Matt was just packing his boxes to move back to Hell's Kitchen.

I understand man,I been wanting Waid off of Daredevil since issue 8.I will never understand why people feel like it's one of the best Daredevil runs ever.I have never seen any Daredevil writer including Bendis get the praise that Mark Waid has gotten it's insane. But I really think he may be done after this digital crap.Who knows maybe we might get a new creator while the digital series is coming out ,it can make a nice secondary title for all the fans who enjoy Matt Murdock acting like Peter Parker.

Given the travesty of Diggle, and that Brubaker kind of lost his way after the Mr. Fear story, I think it's been about 5 years since I've read a decent issue of DD. I know people have different tastes, but really, enough of this take on DD. Waid remains me of the Karl Kessel run, which was also an attempt to break the noir and make DD into a Peter Parker type super-hero, full of jokes and freely using the most extreme comic book absurdities. And Waid feels like a guest who finally promises to leave and then decides to stay longer.
I'm not confident about a new print series coming out at the same time as the digital, since the digital is in continuity. I noticed DD #1 was dated April, 1964, though I'm not sure what month it actually came out. If this digital thing is over by April, that would be a good time for the fiftieth, although a new writer will still have to deal with wherever the editors allowed Waid to leave him.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but will it cost $ to view the Road Warrior series?

There are no dumb questions. I'd never bought a digital comic, and you question prompted me to check. I'd assumed they'd be about half the price for whatever reason, but as far as I can tell in my brief search, Marvel's digitals of new comics cost $3.99... same as the print. And you're sort of licensing it, no even owning it. Maybe they should be less, but it's what people will pay. There's a lot online about this.... I just googled "what do digital comics cost".
Maybe needless to say, it sounds like a bad deal.

From my understanding, Infinite comics make better use of the digital format. Usually, depending on what guide view you are using for the comic, the screen merely jumps from panel to panel.

With Infinite though, the panel transitions are more fluid, the art and layouts are more suited for a digital screen, it's almost like a moving comic. They've been doing a Silver Surfer Infinite comic as a back-up in certain digital issues of Infinity and I've enjoyed those, makes for a rather enjoyable read on a screen.

Although, as DC has done with their digital-only comic releases, I would have to think at some point, a print collection of this series would be released at some point.
