Today I went to Tampa Bay Comic Con (about 1 hour 15 minutes from Orlando) in their new venue at the Tampa Convention Center. Huge improvement over the hotel ballrooms where they used to hold the convention. Though they had about a dozen artists in attendance there was only one "Daredevil" artist there that I had not met at a prior convention.

The artist was Geof Isherwood and he did a GREAT Daredevil sketch for me to add to my "collection" quest to get as many sketches and/or signatures from "Daredevil" and "Amazing Spider-man" Artists and Writers.

Also started a new "project" getting Spider-man artists to sketch their favorite Spidey villains.

Cool sketches. thanks for sharing. I would love to go to a convention some day. I live about a12 hiur drive fom Chicago and my wife has talked about going to San Deigo some time hut life keeps getting in the way. I have several original art pages from some of my favorite DD artists. I have pages from Colan, Mazzuchelli, McDaniel, Cary Nord, Weeks and Bernard Chang. I'd love to have a Miller and/or a Janson page but they are way too expensive and I have kids now...more important things to spend my money on Smile

Nice...I have not purchased any original art pages although I would like to some day. Nice thing about the head sketches is that majority of the artist do it for free, even the ones who charge are usually less than $20.

There is an annual convention in Chicago in spring every year, sounds like that is a fun one and well attended by comic creators.

That Geof Isherwood sketch is very nice, congrats.

Always like seeing updates on these covers - I have dreams about them, no joke.

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
