Yeah, it's probably one of the least consequential issues of Waid's run yet. That's surprising, since he's been on such a tear up until now. Plus, the image of the Surfer on the cover really got me excited. But aliens don't really play to Daredevil's strengths, although it was cool that Waid reached all the way back to one of Stan Lee's issues for this plot.
And the reveal for who Matt was addressing at the end of the previous issue was anti-climactic, even if the last page of this issue handled the situation nicely.
The Jester is in the next issue, so I don't know what to expect. |

Thought this was a fun issue, really enjoy the odd one that conects DD to the greater Marvel U, as I always say I like DD due to his interesting powers and how they are portrayed, and this issue is a great example of how he can help even the most powerful of Marvels heros with his unique gifts. I liked the mini tussle between the Surfer and DD as well.
Filler? Yes, but not a waste of time by any means.

Man I still haven't gotten around to reading this issue yet. I am so far behind in my reading. Hoping to catch up this week. But I love the Silver Surfer, and a match up between him and DD is just so off the wall that my interest is peaked!
