Interesting. But we knew that Daredevil would return back quickly, didn't we ? I like the use of the word "reborn". It's not "the brand new Daredevil" or "who's the new Daredevil" but "Daredevil Reborn". I hope that Arune Singh is serious when he said "Words like ârebornâ or âdisassembledâ we donât use lightly", because we may still see Matt under the mask after "Shadowland". On the other hand, I dont like the reference to Gambit. It's time to end the joke, what does this guy have in common with Matt, he isn't blind, he doesn't seems to have the empathy that Matt have with other people (the good and bad side effect of his hyper senses) and his "job" (if we can calling it a job) means that he doesn't understand the words "law" and "justice". |

"The fallout of the current Hellâs Kitchen story will be examined more closely in âShadowland: After the Fall.â Looking at the life of Matt Murdock and his Daredevil persona, the issue promises to examine some of the weight that will be behind him in the wake of âShadowland.â
Doesn't this statement imply that Matt will be around as DD following Shadowland? I suppose he could choose to not be DD, as someone else picks up the mantle, but "the weight" so to speak is what makes Matt and DD so interesting. |

"Mentioning a replacement for Matt Murdock as the new âMan Without Fearâ, Wacker and Cebulski again made particular reference to cajun X-Man Gambit as an interesting choice.
âIt feels like itâs time for a Gambit book. I love the character, I love the visual -- Gambit has been on my mind a lot lately,â said Wacker. "

Marvel better not do this. Gambit as DD is ridiculous! If Murdock isn't going to be DD anymore, then I'm movin on too! What a joke! |

To me, Daredevil "Reborns" may imply that Matt is still DD. Who else can be "reborn" as DD ? Someone else may bring us a "new Daredevil" or even a "Daredevil returns", but a "rebirth" sounds pretty much "born again" to me. Being said, I may be wrong
Gambit as DD is a very bad joke (like kraven as DD, being said) I just hope Marvel wasn't serious on this, or they need to replace their direction very quickly. |

I guess we just need to see what happens. But, I believe the star of DD Reborn would be Matt. I am betting my Philippines pesos on it.
And obviously we can forget about new creative team. Diggle is still very much on board it looks like. _________________ "I'm only a DEVIL to those who are demonic." |

I'm hoping Diggle does the Reborn mini and then hands off to a new team for the new ongoing. |

Even if this means some sort of rebirth for Matt and DD (which does intrigue me but must we go through the gimmickry of a new title to do so??), please, please, let them be joking about Gambit.
I never liked him in X-men and I'm pretty sure I'd hate him in Hell's Kitchen. |

I'm betting he'll be killed at the end of Shadowland, then resurrected by the Hand in Reborn. |

Instead this is what I'm betting. The entity behind the Snakeroot's scheme is Mephisto, who has been long awaiting for DD to lose all his hope and become a champion of evil.
No, I'm serious. This is my prediction. |

So "the Beast", the demon behind The Hand, would be Mephisto ? Well, why not, both are Demons of incredible powers living in some extradimensional realm. It can works. |
