So, I'm just curious where everyone thinks DD ranks among the rest of the MU martial artists? Just pure skills, not enhanced powers or abilities.
For instance, Black Tarantula has super strength and speed, but just ignore those powers and focus on his pure martial arts skills here.
Here's a list of Marvel's premiere martial artists:
-Captain America
-Winter Soldier
-Iron Fist (The Immortal Weapons as well)
-Shang Chi
-Bullseye
-Elektra
-Lady Bullseye
-Black Widow
-Mister X
-The Cat
-Mandarin
-Wolverine
-Kingpin
-Deadpool
-Taskmaster
-Gamora
-Mantis
-Foreigner
-Black Tarantula
(any others?)
I say DD is among the elite and is right up there with Cap and Iron Fist. They are the best of the best, and IMO, DD has proven he's in their class.
How do you rank DD among the rest? |

Well Lightning Strike that's pretty much Marvel's elite but I think it's very hard to compile a list from 1-10 or 1 to whatever of the best fighters in the Marvel U because I feel some characters are equal in skill level and showings in comics.For Instance,I think Elektra would beat Lady Bullseye,however..I'm not sure if skill wise she's under par.Elektra is just very intelligent has alot experience.
Now as far as Daredevil goes..In terms of a tier system.I think top tier would be characters like...
Ares,Gamora,Mantis,& The Champion of the Universe because these characters have a ridiculously high level of fighting skill and powers that help along with it.Mantis like Mr.X has telepathic ability that boosts her defense.
Under that would be people like.Wolverine,Captain America,Taskmaster,Black Panther because they are trained and have mastered in alot more styles than the rest of the street level heroes.
Then would come people like Daredevil,Shang Chi,Iron Fist,The Cat,Winter Soldier (believe it or not) etc.These characters could put a damn good fight against the two high tiers.but they may lack the experience,skill,or knowledge of combat to actually finish the job.
So excluding people like Gamora & the Champion with mastery of several hundreds of forms from all these different planets and the ridiculous physical feats.DD would be just below the very top tier.
