Hey everyone (probably just Dimetre). After almost nine years, I'm thinking it's time to retire the Book Club. At this point there's not a lot of exciting comics in Volume 1 that haven't been covered. I'm proud at this time that I've been able to do everything I've been interested in covering. I'm especially happy that we covered the runs of Ann Nocenti, Dennis O'Neil, and Roger McKenzie. We also were able to touch on Karl Kesel, Joe Kelly, and some of the other off the beat runs in between. We also covered all of Volume 2 and a bunch of spinoff stories. However, all good things must come to an end - at least for now. Maybe in the future, we'll see. Still, I want to thank everyone for participating and I'm going to continue to look forward to new Daredevil stories as they come out. _________________ Matt Murdock's cooler twin brother
Not sure what to read next? Check out the Book Club for some ideas!
I'd give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety's sake!

Thank you for all your effort over the years. I really appreciate it.
Real life has taken a lot of my time away, but I do hope I can get a new board software going on the site to replace this one. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

Sad to see this go, but I'm very appreciative for all the effort Mike Murdock put into it all these years. I enjoyed the weekly assignment. |
