I just managed to get hold of Daredevil: Abattoir in very nice condition on eBay for only $35.
My copy is just about in new condition and its currently going for as much as a couple hundred on Amazon from different sellers when in New condition. The first time I saw it sold was on Amazon, and it was listed for like $46,000. I looked at it for a few hours and for giggles i tossed it in my shopping cart. I imagine sellers can see when someone does that because the seller dropped the price to about $700 very soon after i dropped it in my cart.
Eventually I just removed it from my cart and through searches here and there, I ran into it on eBay a few days ago and bam! It's now mine.
I had somewhat of a similar experience getting The Fall of the Kingpin TPB, but with much lower prices.

Ya that is a hard GN to get that's for sure. 35 dollars is a good price for it too considering the inflated prices I've seen for it most of the time.
This is DD comic not mentioned too often but man the artwork in it so amazing. |

So I finally read this, and wow... This was intense. It's a quick read and I'm gonna say its one of my favorite DD stories so far. I love the art and I just wish there was more of this writing and art team-up out there. Jim Starlin and Joe Chiodo made a hell of a pair here.
5 out of 5.
