Here is an interesting question, what if Daredevil had stayed in San Francisco? How would things have been different?

Conway placed Matt/DD in San Francisco for no other reason than it was 'different'. It didn't really add anything to the character, and if anything took things away from the roots of the character and what makes him 'tick'.

If he'd have stayed...? Man Bull would have showed up a lot more.

It would have had less chance to interact with the MU, which is more centered on NYC. Other than that I doubt it would've changed much.

Marvel is such a NYC centered universe not much lasts outside NYC. (West Coast Avengers?)

That said, I enjoyed DD in SFO if only for all the great landmarks it allowed Gene Colan to draw.

I think DD was moved to Frisco because people were complaining about every superhero living in New York. I think Gerry wanted to shut everyone up and make daredevil a little more original. If DD stayed I don't think much would have changed.

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
