I've posted a new interview with BLACK PANTHER writer David Liss, where we talk about BP taking over the DD numbering, why T'Challa is in Hell's Kitchen and more!

I know Liss has to "tow the party line" and just regurgitate Marvels selling points but geeeez.

Justifying this Black Panther garbage by saying comic fans have to be flexible? I think comics fans are flexible they just don't like stupid gimmicks and being talked down to by editors and creators.

I'm fine with BP coming to Hell's Kitchen, but it should be covered in the Black Panther series not by co-opting the ongoing Daredevil series.

DD traveling the world or whatever trying to find his mojo should be in DD, not a miniseries and then a likely new ongoing, especially since Marvel just redid the numbering.

I've been collecting comics for 18 years. Daredevil for the last 7. Issue 510 was the last issue I actually bought. I will probably be getting Reborn in trade format cheap off Amazon next year, but I'm done with single issues from Marvel. I've already dropped the other 3 Marvel titles I was getting. I still get 2 Batman titles from DC, at least they aren't price gouging.

I've become one of those guys who says "I'll wait for the trade" but you know what? 70% of the time when the trade of whatever does come out, I say to myself, "eh I don't really wanna read that anymore", and don't end up buying it at all. I have two other friends, who were collecting comics longer than me, who went this way a few years ago and have totally given up comics altogether now.

Way to run a business Marvel.

It's sad. I won't be buying it, because I have to vote with my pocketbook. I can't support Marvel mistreating my character. Having said that, it looks like Liss is doing a good job. It should be its own series -- not take over Daredevil's book.

The only series I'm reading anymore is Captain America. That's still good. Whenever Incognito comes out, I'll pick that up too.
