Y'know, this topic had already ran its course and fizzled a while back on speculation on "who the Mastermind is". But I thought I'd share this dream I had last night...

(people swear I'm on hilucinagens when I discuss dreams I've had... but, contrary to popular belief I have always been quite drug-fee)

I drempt DD#99 was so late in getting out that DD#100 came out before #99 did (it really did make sense in a dream-logic sort of way). And it spoiled who the mastermind behind everything was. And the menace was none other than...

The Mole Man (lol)

Although, I had a difficult time deciphering the Bill Sienkiewicz-esque illustration style that Michael Lark adapted in telling the story. I couldn't tell if it was Doctor Octavious or the Mole Man...

Then, as DD# 100 went on, Matt battled the Mole Man's minions in dark, shadow shallowed underground caverns.

I don't remember much more of the dream, but I thought it was a little hilarious, in a comic book geeky sort of way.

Hmm. Right. Yes.

Um, Anyways, that's all from the fox hole.

I seem to recall that Mole Man was blind... a Blind hero against a blind villain: your dream makes sense Cool

... When's the shipping date? Wink

Right. Exactly.

When I was reading it in my dream (and, yes, I can read / recognize words in my dream, albeit short words like "run", "stop" or something like that and not a jumble of letters as most people seem to recall "reading" when they are dreaming), and once I got past the initial angst with a such a lame idea that someone as brilliant as Ed Brubaker was trying to pass off.

Then, in my dream, I thought about it, and aspects of it oddly worked (such as the blind vs. blind detail you pointed out, Gloria)... I was pleasantly surprised that Mssr. Brubaker actually pulled it off.

But then, I woke up and "real" logic began to bleed back into my sleep clotted head.

So, Ed Brubaker, (please don't) make mine Mole Man!!

Well, "Super-hero world" logic is actually somewhere in the middle of the way from "dream" logic to "real" ("everyday"?) logic... and then there's the chasm between "real" logic and Cartesian Logic... Not forgetting Vulcanian logic Razz

Huh, please don't kick me! Rolling Eyes
