I have one. Under this name. I never use it.

Facebook is better but you have to do it under your real name.

I don't think it was me; I had to be convinced to be on friendster with you people.

YES, "you people".

In other news, I have both myspace and facebook under my real name. And yes, there's plenty of substance to my online sizzle.

Yeah it was JR.

Related: is anyone on X-box Live? Halo 3 beta was too tempting and now I am poor. Poor and on Live that is. My tag is my name (with lower caps). Anyone else on?

Dude, I've seriously been thinking about getting Xbox live for my 360 but is it worth it? Also, I have a Myspace account and it's pretty good nothing I recommend it but there's better sites.

It's worth it like crazy. It's like $60 a year or something. $5 a month. The Halo 3 Beta's been awesome and when Halo 3 actually launches it's going to be ridiculous. Plus, there's a ridiculous amount of free demos on live. That alone justifies the price. Plus, the system is pretty amazing. Like, it tells you right away if your friends come online and what they're doing so you don't have to plan or anything, you just log on and see what's going on. The 360 itself is expensive (sigh) but if you've already got one I can't recommend live enough.

Do you have the gold or silver Xbox live plan?

The gold/silver thing seems to be a bit of a lie. As far as I can tell the silver plan is free and lets you aquire gamer points and send messages. But it doesn't let you play games online.

The gold one costs money and lets you play online. It seems to me that the whole point of Live is to play online. The should call the gold plan "X-Box Live" and the silver plan "Hotmail for Your X-Box".

If you just plug your 360 in you can sign up for the silver plan for free.
