The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.

These covers are probably the best I've seen since I started collecting again. I'm almost embarassed by the fact that the artist is actually held to working on a man in a devil outfit instead of doing something that would grab the general public's attention.

Is anyone else pysched about Ultimate Knights? Bagley's cover there looks good. I just hope Bendis doesn't turn DD into a fanatic. So far Ultimate Daredevil's been a great character in the UU serving as a veteran vigilante as opposed to the children, fanatics, and media favorites.

Why is people so evil to write false solicits of such a minoritary thing? In spite of all, I'm glad the summary I read wasn't true. I'm sick of the Black Widow (I find this character boring and out of date) and I won't say anything about that cheap Elektra that hasn't been said yet...

Thank you kindly for the Marko links Kuljit. I had seen his X-Men and Blade work before. Just never took note of his name. I think Lee's covers are better, but just by a hair. This Marko cover is definetly in the same class.

The cover is great though the theme is a bit generic, it doesn't relate much to the issue...

The guy is a great artist, anyway he doesn't seem to like the medium :

Quote:
CGC: What do you think of American Comics in general?

Marko: Not much. Every once in a while some great artist like Ashley Wood comes along and creates a milestone of comicbook history, but in general, neither the stories nor the characters really appeal to me. Exaggerated Anatomy, **** costumes, flat dialogue and stupid soap opera plots just don't do it for me. If I'd have to name a favorite comic it would be "From Hell" and that's so far away from American mainstream that you could almost think it's European.
