This week I'll be picking up the following:-

52#29 - I'm 2 weeks behind (still), so I had better get reading!

Boys#5 - Ennis extreme, I'm lovin it. Ohh I sound like a McDonald's advert.

Civil War: Front Line#8 - Thank No-one for the benefit of previews and hype - on the basis that JQ has mentioned that the New Warriors will return with Jubilee and Speedball, I'll guess htat he doesn't die and gets his powers back. Still enjoying this book, has made CW better for having this title.

DD#91 - Loved the artwork of last issue, amazing visuals, perhaps some of Lark's best for me.

Pun War Journal - I love the Pun, but I am not sure about making him a PG-13 (is that the correct US film classification code?), he should be a MAX, no doubt about it, when you water him down, he loses everything that he is. I'll still buy it though, but that sends the wrong message from me to Marvel that I accept it.

Pun War Journal B&W variant - Re above: I am a Pun fan-boy and according to above a hypocrit!

On that hypocrocy I cannot let myself buy any more! Perhaps Leading Man if it ships.

Could not agree more! PG-13 Punisher is like an R-rated Franklin Richards comic...

DD #91 - Bring it on!!! Very Happy

52 #29

Action Comics #845 - Very Happy Cool Very Happy

Connor Hawke Dragon's Blood #1 - I've always wanted to read more about this character. Dixon writing! Cool

Good week in comics, although I cannot pick them up until the weekend.

Conan #22- Enjoying the new writer and the fact that they added pages and did not raise the price!

Action Comics # 845-Still on the fence, only because the child in there reminds me of the child in Superman returns. That plot point left an awful taste in my mouth.

Amazing Spider-man #536- I want to see Spidey open a can of whoop-*ss on Iron Man.

DD #91-'nuff said

I had Punisher War Journal on my pull list and last week I canceled it. I just can't imagine it is going to be that good. I try to keep my pull list within reason and I am opting to get Iron Fist (next week) instead.

Have agreat Thanksgiving!!!

I heard that Brubaker's run might not be being collected in oversized - just each arc individually in the regular "Premiere" hardcovers (so you might see them sooner than you thought!).

Just DD #91 and Previews for me. Picked them up this afternoon but haven't had a chance to look at them yet. Trying to get the place cleaned up for family/Thanksgiving.

Conan #34
52
Wonder Woman #3
CW:Frontline #8
DD #91 x2 Twisted Evil
Punisher: WJ #1
Boys #5

-Pulled a Marvel Zombie Spider-Man! (rare heroclix figure. 1/100 boosters)
-Quite turned off by the new Daredevil bust in the new Previews. This is an easy one to say "no thanks!" to.
-Quite excited about the B&W Batman statue (new Previews) based on Alex Ross!!! Is this ever flippin' cool!!!
- Quite scared about the damage this new Previews is going to do to my wallet. Miller DD Omnibus! Absolute: the Long Halloween!

Well, after the heroclix tournament tonight, I picked up a book that brought back a lot of childhood memories. Long before I discovered Daredevil. My brother and I shared this big stack of war comics when we were kids. One character was kind of creepy/scary but he was a good guy. A fearless hero. Reminds me of Daredevil really. The Unknown Soldier!

Showcase Presents: The Unknown Soldier Vol.1 (the first 38 issues of the Unknown Soldier's appearances) 560 b/w pages for under $20 Cdn. (with my discount). I'm going way back down memory lane over the Christmas holidays. Very Happy
