Daredevil Message Board The Board Without Fear!
|
The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.

Howdy posters,
I have been buying DD trades since my first post here where I tried to make sense of DD continuity. Since then I have spent many happy hours reading about Matty-boy.
But on reading the 'Hardcore' arc, in issue #50 (I think) the fight between DD and Fisk suddenly changes artists (I think) and the art takes on a less dark look, Fisk is now wearing a white suit instead of the black t-shirt he had been wearing in the previous panel, and DD looks like an action-figure. The art then changes back to what it was before this strange blip. Can someone explain this to me? Is this what happened or have I bought a strange bootleg version of this trade? And why change artists for two or three pages, then change back?
Aside from that, I really liked this arc, especially DD dumping Fisks 'carcass' on the floor of a bar and warning all the local scum to leave or change their ways! |

For that issue, several past DD artists were asked to draw a panel of the fight, to represent the various times in history when DD and Kingpin have fought (hence the changing outfits).
There's panels by Gene Colan, Klaus Janson, Lee Weeks, John Romita and others. _________________ Kuljit Mithra
