Well, of course Foggy isn't a little lamb.
To start with, he iis a corpulent guy... so, far from "little".
Second, the Fogster has a dark side, as we have already diswussed in the chat:
- He maskeraded as Daredevil to win Karen's heart over Matt.
- As a DA, he prosecuted Natasha (OK, he was being blackmailed/,manipulated, but the thought of the Beautiful Widow being burnt out in the Electric Chair as a possible result gives me the shudders!).
- Having reconciled with Natasha, Foggy conspired with her to make Matt and Heather break-up (done with the best intentions, but...)
- He defended a corporation owned by the Kinpin (even though he resigned when he learnt who his customer was).
So the likeable Franklin isn't as innocent as generally regarded, but remember, on top of what we have already said:
HE'S A FRIGGIN' LAWYER
"Of course we're expending this, Becky, we're lawyers!"
Still, there's people who loves Viktor Von Doom, who has surely done much worse thinks... So vivat Darth Nelson

Are you sure? His hair is often drawn a little "woolly" on top. 
Seriously, though. Foggy is awesome. He's the perfect sidekick. He doesn't need a costume or special powers because Matt doesn't need that kind of sidekick. He needs a good and loyal friend and that's what Foggy is. Perhaps he's a little lamb-like sometimes when he's being too nice, but ever since he found out about Matt being DD, their relationship has been one of equals who mean a great deal to each other. They are really quite different, but compliment each other so well. That hug in #93 when Foggy comes back from the dead? I get all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. I know this post isn't really related to Foggy being a little lamb, but I just had a moment there. I love it when close male friendships are well portrayed. *happy sigh*
