The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.

Well, It is not just you. Matt is currently living mostly in "automatic pilot" mood, which, in a way is good because we can get a glimpse of the teamsters around in action.

Truly Dakota has had so far a clearer sight of things than Matt, and she and Becky played a relevant role in the resolution of the (Ben) Donovan case. Of course, the brunt of legal work at the firm surely rests on Foggy's and Becky's shoulders.

When Dakota first appeared, I thought one of the reasons for bringing her in was to introduce a logical division of labor between her and Matt when it came to detective work. I thought that Bru would use her more as, quite literally, Matt's eyes on the streets (or the Internet or really doing any other detective task where eyesight beats radar hands down). Instead, there's very little of that compared to Dakota doing things that clearly lie in DD's domain, such as physically going after bad guys. If they are both going to go around and help each other solve crime, I think it would make more sense for Bru to play up each character's strengths a bit more rather than making Matt's actions seem somewhat redundant. I really like that we have lots of characters in the book now, and I like Dakota a lot, but their respective roles could be a bit clearer.

And yeah, I wonder how many more hours Foggy has billed compared to Matt over the years. He'll have to watch out or Becky will match him within her first year. Wink

Yes, I think you're right: dakota should do something to complement rather than overlap Matt's work... Still, since Matt has been a bit "overloaded" of late, it's not entirely out of logic that Dakota should

Still, there have been instances where we have seen doing researach on the computer (remember when she attempted to teach Black tarantula to help her? LOL), and in the resolution of the Donovan case it was quite relevant that she and Becky started to check some old bills
