I am a loyal 20 plus year fan of DD I will take anything DD and Elektra. that said I must add the Waid era has been the lowest for me so far. not as bad as the Elektra in the current Thunderbolt run' I have to read it cos its Elektra but every time I do I get the @!#%& I mean whats with the slu@#$%^ attitude and with Punisher ? . She is a strong independent character I am glad nobody refers to it on this site. But I digress.

DD has to change style and tone its inevitable. Waid's take is different we needed to see this. Can it be done better I think so. Its not necessarily bad just too muck anticlimax,strong individual scenes but weak long story and finishing. But we do need to see a different take on DD. Not gritty all the time he can be gritty in the next story act, i mean check out game of thrones and the way it switches.

Also the whole Original Sin/ Grace story line aaaaaaahh.

I was hoping they turn her into some runaway Bene Gesserit chick like in Dune. Some one who could really take out Stone or that short guy called Logan .

But Alas wishful thinking
