The FF's identities have been public practically since day one of the Marvel Age.
Steve Rogers is able to go out on public dates with Sharon Carter.
Tony Stark is able to achieve public works via his companies like currently rebuilding Mandarin City into Troy, City of the Future.
Most of the Avengers identities are known as is their headquarters.
Scott Summers aka Cyclops is one of the world's most wanted terrorists along with Magneto aka Eric Lensherr.
Jean Grey's Higher Institute for Learning is a publicly known school for mutants.
One could successfully argue that in today's Marvel Universe, secret identities are no longer the norm, rather they are the exception. |

guys, we're in issue 5 or 6 right now. just have some patience.
I dont think anyone who complains here has any clue where Waid is taking us with DDs vol. 4. Or his whole trip to San Francisco for that matter. I for one am very sure that he'll be back in NY by 2015, and his identity will be adressed in the next few issues more frequently.
and if Waid really doesnt have any idea how to solve the dilemma at all (and I am absolutely certain that he has a plan for all of this), Matt can always call up Mephisto and make a deal.
