I can't see how anyone would not select Frank Miller as #1. He had two unbelievable runs his first starting at #158 and Born Again.

4. Brian Michael Bendis - In order to better enjoy his run you need to read his all in one shot and not as a monthly issue.
5. Dan Chichester
6. David Mack
7. Denny O'Neil
I'm not a big fan of Mark Waid for DD although he was great for Spidey. I'm not saying that Waid is horrible just not the perfect fit for DD but I guess Marvel brought him in to break up the darkness for a bit. I prefer to see DD in a much darker setting and i would like to see him fight some better quality villains. |
