The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.

This could have been a very interesting debate about our hope and our fear (everyone, I guess, is fearing that Marvel would turn Jack into a very bad guy who love to beat a woman and / or a child. ) for the next issue. We could also have written about what everyone have imagined about the reason for Sister Maggie to leave her husband and his child. Too bad the subject was turned into a biased Waid trial.

Waid is on board since 3 years. He has done some very good job (The final issues of the "return of Bullseye" were really, really good) and some stuff that were less impressive ( since the "monsters" part of the "sons of the serpent" run )

Everyone has some doubt about the future (the future in San Francisco, the "public identity", etc...), but it's not necesseraly a bad thing, and Waid may surprise us (he did it in the past) or he may f### it up.

But none of us knows what the future will bring us. I have some doubt and fear too (After the issue 1.5, I really fear that Matt may turn the Shroud into his "Jean Paul Valley's Azbat", if you understand what I mean, to become you know what. Knightfal has already been done, and a DD ripoff of the story isn't very bright idea), but I let Mark Waid the benefit of the doubt.

I have read of lot of DD run. Not all of them, sadly. There were some amazing runs (Miller), some good and underated one, and some very terrible one (the "Kruel" run was atrocious)

To me, Daredevil is a street level character. He is the superhero who prect the poor, the homeless of his crooked area. But he is not, like the Punisher, a pure "noir" character. He can work in this kind of story, but he is a character that is so much more rich. I love Miller, I love Ann Nocenti, I love Bendis and Brubaker and I love Kesel.

As for Waid, I love his "return of Bulseye" run. For the rest, I will wait to judge. Who knows if the preview isn't missleading.
