That Diggle was forced to write within the boundaries of the Shadowland story is evident when reading the afterword to Shadowland by Joe Quesada. Matt becoming the leader of the hand was what he inherited by Brubaker, as well as figuring out what the heck master Izo had been wanting from him the whole time. |

Yeah, that's a pretty far cry from Diggle being "forced" into the event. Diggle had to deal with the "leader of the hand thing" and Izo but that's true of all writers. Quesada wasn't forced to do One More Day just because Spidey was married. My recollection is the same as McFly's. Diggle clearly owned the story before it completely tanked. _________________ JC
