"However, I'm not crazy about his depiction of the broken billy clubs. I'm not sure if their actual material has ever been disclosed, but considering the fact that DD blocks katanas and deflects bullets with them, I doubt they'd splinter like wood."

certain ones had a steel core encased in a hollow wooden tube while some are the polar opposite. Some are just metal or just wood as well, he does have many variations after all. what leads me to believe some are wood was earlier interpretations but specifically bulleyes thrown teeth cracking the clubs in guardian devil (however it could have been another material). none the less we can agree that the cover looks awesome Smile

I don't count anything written by Kevin Smith or Joe Quesada as canon, but yeah I remember that panel specifically. I knew someone would bring that up, and I'm sure some of the more longtime readers can site other similiar examples from much earlier than Guardian Devil.

The covers are indeed awesome. I know Diggle and Jock are close and all, but it's truly a shame that his art is going to waste on what's probably going to be a self-indulgent justification of the ruination of Daredevil.

*sigh* fans really hate them, don't they? idk imo i still love Guardian devil #5 specifically the follow up after the church scene(the former and the latter i could care less for the most part). The flash back writing is good and the art for the suicide scene is fantastic.... in my opinion but i digress.

yeah.....ageed, the art is kinda wasted.

I feel the ruination of Daredevil is the book, not the character. He took the cheap route and had him possessed. Everyone knows he was possessed, so he should get a "get out of jail free card" with his fellow crime fighters. Maybe Reborn is about the book being good again. Smile

years of psychological setup down the drain.
