No chance that they'll have a proper DD and a BP:MWF running at the same time. I think the writer is just trying to hype the book and pretend that this "status quo" is going to last more than a few months. It isn't.
Marvel blows through status quos like they're nothing these days. Remember all the hype about the X-Men moving to San Fran (a pretty cool idea actually). They stayed there for, what, six months?
It's too bad they're pulling this stuff on our favorite book but, in the end, it's Marvel as usual. _________________ JC

I hope you're right James, but unfortunately, the X-Men are still in San Fran...on an island, but still San Fran. There has to be a plan post Reborn; maybe we will hear in New York Con. |

Let's not actually make up where they're going, because that's not fair.
Personally, I could've give two **** where they're going.
Daredevil is a character a LOT of people have a LOT of time for, you'd be surprised. For someone who isn't an A-Lister, anyway. People seemingly don't give a **** about Black Panther, so don't give him an on-going.
Better yet, give him one and make it good. Don't try to piggy back on Daredevil's more than a decade long, quality run. |

There, I said it. |
While I agree that Tan is nothing short of awful, Francavilla is more than just good. His style is absolutely perfect for a pulp superhero title like DD. I can't imagine another artist who is more qualified for the job, except maybe Eduardo Risso. Of course, the only problem is that he won't actually be drawing Daredevil. _________________ "When it comes to that one final, fatal act of ending you...my gun has no bullets."

I haven't been keeping up with BP lately but T'Challa has his own title (unless it's been canceled)... so why the hell would Marvel put him in Hell's Kitchen!?! He's literally being demoted from running his own "kingdom" to a small F@#%!!! neighborhood. That makes as much sense as pissing in the ocean to raise the sea level! Panther loves Wakanda as much as DD does the Kitchen if not more. But yeah... okay, whatever. _________________

haven't been around here in a while; most of my comic reading has actually been in solitude, but I was really interested to see what most people here thought about this move.
I think this sucks too. I don't want to read a comic about *someone* running around in Hell's Kitchen. I want to read about Matt Murdock. Have never liked BP as a character, and I'm very much trying to trim my comic reading budget. As of December, Captain America and PunisherMAX will be the only Marvel books I continue to buy.
Could not be less interested in this change... _________________ No alarms and no surprises... please. |

The Black Panther's book was taken over by his sister, who is now running the country and wearing the costume. I read Black Panther when Reginald Hudlin was writing. I have as little interest in a new Black Panther as I do a new Daredevil.
I'll probably just read whatever title they put Matt Murdock in. _________________ Bullseye, 1976-2010. RIP. |

Don't get me wrong... I'm both a Panther and DD fan. I just hate all these flawed changes. I knew about Panther being replaced by his sister but he should still be more involved in his own book... hell give him a second title without having to bogard DD's! He can be an Ambassador of Wakanda in a spin off title. _________________

I finally read the preview pages of the first BP issue, and I have to say that this is something I would not hesitate to read if it were marketed as a brand-new BP series, so maybe I should give it a shot. Although, I do wonder what happened to his marriage to Storm. _________________ Bullseye, 1976-2010. RIP. |

As much as a re-numbering would've sucked and made no sense, they're really screwing with us collectors by not re-numbering it.
