This looks great. So, will it include every Bendis DD tpb? Is it a good idea to sell or give away all of my Bendis tpbs and just get this? _________________ Middle Class Fabulous |

The Omnibus will have bigger pages than the TPBs, and should have at least all of the extras that were included in the original HCs, so I think it's worth buying. I'm going to sell my individual issues and buy it. |

So, do we know the final decision about which issues and stories will be included and which won't? The Amazon listing seems to leave out Decalogue and some others. Any info here? _________________ Middle Class Fabulous |

As I said in the first post, I'm guessing that there'll be two Bendis DD Omnibuses: The first will include "Wake Up" and issues #26-50, and the second will include #56-81.
Bendis has said that the amazon listing is wrong, but hasn't said exactly why, so that's my guess. |

I'm only slightly disappointed that they haven't commissioned Maleev to redraw the issues that were drawn by the guest-artists... |

I just checked out the thread about it on the Bendis boards, and it looks as though the first edition might be out of print pretty soon - Alex Maleev's name was omitted from the cover, and Daredevil has a copyright logo stuck on his nose (which is quite small, but once you notice it, you can't un-notice it!).

Bendis just posted this:
obviously we were not happy about it. i have had recurring production and printing mistake nightmares since the early nineties. its my biggest fear. and here it is on the most expensive thing my name will ever be on.
but my pals at marvel are designing and printing new covers as we speak. all will be rectified. its over. buy it with confidense. the new covers will be coming. you can have both. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

Saw the omnibus in the comic shop. That copyright sign is crazy. How does something like that get through? _________________ JC

Did anyone here ever get the 'fixed' dust jacket for the Bendis/Maleev vol. 1 Omnibus? If so, how did you go about getting it? I'm sure that by now a corrected one is no longer available but I finally picked up a copy and it's got the registered mark on it. If a corrected one is not still available, then oh well that's what I get for showing up to the party late...but I Figured it would be worth a shot checking here.
Thanks! _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

I believe that retailers had to contact Marvel directly for a replacement cover, so you'd have to check with whoever you bought the book from to see whether it's possible to get a replacement.
I never bothered to exchange mine, since the error wasn't really that much of a problem. |

Thanks for the info Dave. I got it used but virtually brand spanking new from another collector not a retailer so I guess that won't be an option. I agree that it's not that big of a deal, but it is like someone mentioned in this thread earlier...once you notice it, you can't really look at the cover without it sticking out. It won't show while it's on the shelf with the other DD omnibuses (omnibi, or whatever the correct plural ending is). I am glad the bindings on all of the Vol. 2 omnibus collections match though. _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

Saw this in the stores some months back. Didn't notice the copyright-on-DD's-nose until you guys pointed it out. Anyway, I won't be buying this because I already have all the oversized hardcovers anyway.
I am picking up the two Brubaker omnibuses though. Already got the first one and am eagerly awaiting Vol. 2. I actually avoided getting the softcover trades because I knew that Marvel was going to get them into HC/Omnibus format!
