Between the three major costumes, my favourite one is the classic red. Among the minor costumes, I particularly liked the one he wore in Miller's Man Without Fear miniseries. |

Like, the black sweatsuit? I don't know if that qualifies as a costume.
My favorite is the yellow one. Maybe because it's cool and sort of rare. _________________ JC

I liked most of them. My favorite personally is the red costume. I also agree with Francesco on the fact of the black sweats. It was a good costume. |

In terms of the "proper" costume, I've got to go with the armoured one (from the Fall From Grace arc). From a visual standpoint, that is in fact one of the best superhero costumes of all, especially when rendered by Scott McDaniel. As I've stated in other threads previously, I'm just surprised that my view seems to be minority here.
In terms of the "unofficial" costumes, agree with majority here that the black sweatshirt "costume" from the Man Without Fear series was simply awesome. I'm not a particular fan of JRJR's artwork, but in this instance, the outcome of a slightly stocky and menacing-looking Matt in the black was just perfect. Well, almost perfect - he should have provided Matt with the cool Converse All Stars shoes as well. |

I agree with you. The armoured costume (drawn by McDaniel) was awesome. I personally loved the hell out of it when it first arrived and throughout Tree of Knowledge (story problems aside).
However, the armoured costume (drawn by anyone else) sucks. Which is too bad cuz it really was a kick ass costume. _________________ JC

James, that's what I noticed as well. There were other artists during the armor costume period, eg: Annuals, guest fill-ins, and the replacements after the sacking of Chichester (and when McDaniel left for greener pastures in DC). And somehow these artists could never put up half as good as what Scott did with his Miller-esque styles. In a way, from an editorial standpoint, I guess this would have been a problem if only one guy could do justice to the costume! |

The original Lee/Everett Yellow and Red, and the classic Red as redesigned by Wood. They're all that matters. The rest is window dressing. |

Grey/armor costume! Yay!!!
Seriously, I really dig that costume, even if some of the associated stories were painful.
Between the yellow and red, it's a tough call for me. I like yellow better, but that may be because I associate it with killer stories!
Least favorite: the Samurai costume from DD: Father! Love the mini thus far, I loved seeing that costume because it was something new, but I still don't like it as much as any of the others, including the Secret War gear. _________________ "Flash is back. Worlds will die again!" |

How is Daredevil father anyway, I had refused to pick up anything after the first issues original release three or so years ago, cause everything else was late and all. |

Well, to get off topic, I LOVE DD:Father!!!
Sure, the delays are a pain, but I find the writing truly captivating (despite Quesada's portrayal of Jack Murdock) and I LOVE the art! (I know the art is quite controversial.)
I highly recommend this mini to any DD fans, even if others disagree. Also, the ending is going to be intense! _________________ "Flash is back. Worlds will die again!" |

Red costume!
It's simply...simple??
I mean it's classic and, in the spirit of SR, no outside-underwear to umm be discussed _________________ sun tea
