Daredevil #11

Daredevil #11 - Wow, this is late. Other than that fairly obvious gripe, I'm nothing but pleased with this ish. Quesada and Mack make a great team. There's beautiful art (obviously heavily influenced by Mack's style as seen in Kabuki) and good solid writing, bound tightly together in a quirky storytelling style. Coffee leaves steam trails 300 feet long while cartoon squirrels frolic and vigilantes engage in beautiful violence high above New York.

Echo manages to avoid being a carbon copy of the other femme fatales in Daredevil's life and is a very interesting character in her own right. The various dichotomies in her personality are fascinating and it's a shame this storyline seems like it can only end in tragedy. But odds are it will be a good tragedy.
