Issue Summary

J. Jonah Jameson is having a meeting with all his reporters at the Daily Bugle. He's upset that the Daily Globe has scooped the story of "Matt Murdock is Daredevil". Jameson wants his reporters to swarm on Murdock and turn his life upside-down and tell the real story. But as Jameson rants and raves, Ben Urich tells Jameson the whole story is not true. Jameson doesn't believe him. Urich lets it slip that he knows who Daredevil is, and it isn't Matt Murdock. Jameson can't stand it! He still doesn't believe Urich. Then Peter Parker shows up at the meeting and Jameson wonders why he is there since Parker doesn't work at the Bugle. Parker then tells Jameson that what Urich said was true. He also knows who Daredevil is, and it's not Murdock. Jameson demands to know who DD really is. The men don't tell. Parker leaves as Jameson fumes. Jameson continues to get on Urich about the info. Urich finally reveals that the info was entrusted to him for a reason and he says this whole story isn't news to print. Jameson throws Urich out of the meeting.

Outside, Urich catches up with Parker and they talk about the fact they both knew but didn't know each other knew Matt's secret. They haven't heard from Matt and are left to wonder what he must be going through right now.

Inside Matt's apartment, Foggy and Matt discuss if Matt should give up being DD. Reporters are outside talking with neighbours. Foggy says maybe it's time for Matt to live a normal life. Matt tells Foggy that he needs to go out in costume and do something worthwhile for someone. Foggy gets mad as Matt gets into costume. While this is going on, we see that Elektra has seen the paper 'outing' Matt, in France.

Foggy talks to Matt about the anger issues Matt's been having lately. Maybe it's because the only two women in his life that he ever gave a damn about died violently at the hands of the same man (Bullseye). Matt's life is just a vicious cycle of pain. It starts everytime he puts on the costume. Is someone making Matt put on the costume? Is Matt angry at Matt? Foggy can't understand why Matt can't see all the mistakes he keeps making by putting on his DD costume. When will it stop?

Matt leaves the apartment in costume and hangs on the lamp post. The reporters wait below, unaware DD is above them. What will Matt do?
