Daredevil #13

Foggy is sitting on the floor quietly in Matt's office. Alyssa and Austin are knocking on the door, wondering where Matt is, since an appointment has been waiting for a half-hour. Foggy is thinking about Matt's behaviour... how Matt is acting "happy" while denying his recent tortured past. We also learn Foggy has been seeing a therapist about this; it is causing him stress. We find out that Foggy had just entered Matt's office, asking for a file, but Matt was not there. He needs the file and goes through Matt's desk. Inside he finds something so shocking it makes him sit on the floor in disbelief.

Black Spectre's appearance from last issue has clearly shaken up Kirsten, and Matt does his best to downplay it and gets her to take a cab home. He tells her not to worry and he will call her tomorrow.

Matt gets back to his apartment and grabs the Omega Drive. He wants to flush out all the groups in Megacrime (except Black Spectre). He heads downtown and sure enough, he is attacked. After a short bout, DD is captured. But they are interrupted by members of Black Spectre. The others are wondering what is going on, since their intel has said Black Spectre is no more. It must be a rogue group that has been reborn. Black Spectre gets the upper hand and one of them punches DD and grabs the Omega Drive. They climb a ladder to a waiting invisible plane and disappear.

Elsewhere, Kirsten watches the news report on the attack.

At Avengers mansion, DD arrives, where Wolverine, Iron Fist, Cage, Spider-Man and Mockingbird are removing their Black Spectre disguises. The reader learns that the Black Spectre member from last issue was really Spider-Man, and the others have now helped focus the crosshairs of the Omega Drive on Black Spectre (which no longer exists).

Suddenly, DD seems to be phasing in and out and he disappears.
